The orange hue on some of the buildings is due to oil being coated on the natural pale yellow limestone to help seal the stone and cut down on dust. > The Siege Bell Memorial, commemorating those who lost their lives in the convoys of 1940-43, bringing supplies and ammunition to Malta. The bell is rung at noon every Sunday - it's bloody loud too! |
